Angela designs and makes the jewellery
Allan designed the web site and does all the boring stuff
Angela originally trained and worked in the fashion industry but after having a family and a number of years in retailing decided to put her experience to good use.
She then returned to College to study jewellery and silversmithing, and recently set up her own business: Gracie-Mae Handcrafted Jewellery.
She sells her work through this web site, galleries and directly to the public through carefully selected craft fairs.

About the Jewellery
Angela seeks to capture the beauty of the stones themselves, whether it is through bold statements or small accents. Contrast is a major source of inspiration; she loves to use the contrast of texture, colour and shape and gets her inspiration from things one sees everyday but think nothing about. Her work in progress is the” String Collection", silver jewellery based on ideas taken from architecture and engineering .
She develops her jewellery using silver, semi precious stones, shell and glass. She uses beading and silversmith techniques to construct each piece by hand in her small workshop
