About the designer
Each piece of our distinctive jewellery is designed and created by myself
Angela Burrows.
My design background originates in the fashion industry. I studied at college and received a Diploma in Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting and then worked within the fashion/retail industry until having my daughter in 1990. On returning to work I began to search for a new media to express my creativity. I discovered this when I attended Barnsley college to pursue a course in silversmithing..... and there began my love of creating unique contemporary jewellery.

About the Jewellery
I currently produce three collections: Contemporary silver, silver combined with semi precious stones, and silver with glass.
High quality workmanship and components are extremely important within the creative process, each bead or accent is chosen with care and great attention to detail. All the pieces are individually handcrafted using different techniques including forging and soldering etc. and contrast is a major source of inspiration. I love to use the contrast of texture, colour and media to create distinctive modern pieces.
Each piece from the Contemporary collection is hallmarked with my own makers mark and with the hallmark of the Sheffield Assay office. All the pieces which weigh below the legal hallmarking weight of 7.78grms are marked with .925

Each piece of jewellery can be tailored specifically for day or evening wear or be created to compliment a certain outfit or for a special occasion.
Because each piece is handcrafted the designs can be subtly changed to meet individual requirements, for example: the finished length can be changed, colour combinations and beads can be altered, even your own ideas can be incorporated to create a bespoke piece perfectly suited to your needs.
